Once you purchase your Pumpkin Spice Latte on October 10, you’ll be handed a small card that reads “Happy 20th Birthday PSL” and contains several temporary tattoos to go along with your drink. These birthday tattoos stick to the autumnal PSL theme with pumpkins, leaves, hearts, and of course, Starbucks cups. The temporary tattoos are only available at participating stores while supplies last, so grab your PSL early if you’re hoping to score a sheet.
One PSL fan reacted to the Instagram announcement of the tattoos by calling them “Kinda weird but kinda cute” while another shared simply, “I love temporary tattoos!” The celebratory tattoos aren’t a hit with everyone though, with another commenter sharing, “Great thing to celebrate but I would have expected something better than just temporary tattoos. At least do stickers or specialty cups.”
Despite the mixed reactions to the tattoos, the pumpkin celebration is in full swing at Starbucks stores and many customers will likely be showing off their temporary tattoos on social media all day long. Happy birthday, PSL!
